Description

As of my last update, Romsons (specifically the brand known for fragrances, deodorants, and sometimes personal care items in India) does not prominently feature wet wipes or bed bath wipes in their generally marketed product lines. Their core business seems to be concentrated on perfumes, body sprays, and related personal grooming products.

It’s possible that:

  1. They might have a very niche or newly launched product that isn’t widely advertised or is targeted at a specific institutional market.
  2. There might be another company with a similar name that produces these items.
  3. The user might be misremembering the brand for these specific products.

General Description of Wet Wipes / Bed Bath Wipes:

Since Ramsons doesn’t seem to be a primary manufacturer for these, I’ll give you a general description of these products:

  • → Description: Pre-moistened disposable cloths designed for quick and convenient cleaning of skin and sometimes surfaces. They come in various formulations depending on their intended use.
  • → Material: Typically made from non-woven fabric, often a blend of polyester and viscose, which gives them softness and strength.
  • → Moistening Solution: Impregnated with a liquid solution that usually contains:
    • → Water: The primary solvent.
    • → Cleansing Agents/Surfactants: Mild soaps or detergents to help lift dirt and oils.
    • → Moisturizers/Emollients: Ingredients like aloe vera, vitamin E, glycerin, or lanolin to prevent skin dryness.
    • → Preservatives: To prevent microbial growth in the solution.
    • → Fragrance: Often added for a pleasant scent (though fragrance-free options are available).
    • → pH Adjusters: To maintain a skin-friendly pH.
    •
  • → Packaging: Usually comes in resealable pouches or plastic tubs to keep the wipes moist.

  • Types & Uses:
    • → Baby Wipes: Designed for delicate baby skin, often extra gentle, hypoallergenic, and fragrance-free or mildly scented.
    • Facial Wipes/Make-up Remover Wipes: Formulated to cleanse the face and remove makeup.
    • → Feminine Hygiene Wipes: For intimate hygiene.
    • → Antiseptic/Disinfectant Wipes: Contain alcohol or other germ-killing agents for hand sanitizing or surface disinfection.
    • → General Purpose/Refreshment Wipes: For quick clean-ups on hands or face.
  • →Description: These are specialized, thicker, larger, and often warmer (if microwaved) pre-moistened wipes designed for a complete or partial body cleansing for individuals who cannot easily shower or bathe (e.g., bedridden patients, elderly, critically ill). They are specifically formulated to be "no-rinse."
  • → Material: Made from soft, durable, often thicker non-woven fabric to effectively clean larger body areas.
  • → Moistening Solution: Impregnated with a gentle, pH-balanced, hypoallergenic, and non-sensitizing solution that is designed to cleanse the skin without needing to be rinsed off. Key ingredients often include:
    • →Water.
    • → Mild Cleansing Agents: Gentle surfactants that leave no sticky or irritating residue.
    • → Humectants/Emollients: To hydrate and moisturize the skin (e.g., glycerin, dimethicone, aloe vera).
    • → Antimicrobial/Antifungal Agents (sometimes): Some formulations may contain mild agents to help reduce microbial load on the skin, especially in healthcare settings.
    • → Neutralizers/Deodorizers: To help with body odor.
    • → Often Fragrance-Free: To minimize irritation for sensitive or compromised skin.
    • → No-Rinse Formula: Eliminates the need for water, soap, basins, and towels, simplifying patient hygiene.
    • → Convenience: Provides a quick, efficient, and comfortable bathing alternative.
    • → Skin Health: Formulated to be gentle, pH-balanced, and moisturizing, helping to maintain skin integrity and prevent dryness or irritation.
    • → Infection Control: Reduces the risk of cross-contamination often associated with traditional basin bathing.
→ Patient Comfort: Can be warmed in a microwave for a more pleasant experience.
  • Usually comes in larger, multi-wipe packs (e.g., 8 or 10 wipes per pack for a full body bath), often microwavable bags.

Used sequentially to clean different parts of the body, often from cleanest to dirtiest areas (e.g., face, upper body, lower body, perineal area)
