FAQ
Diapering & Skin Health: Select a Diaper size based on the baby’s weight, not age, for the best fit and leak protection. Use Baby Wipes (alcohol-free and hypoallergenic) for gentle cleaning during changes. To prevent diaper rash, change diapers frequently, allow the area to air-dry, and apply a thick layer of Diaper Rash Cream (Zinc Oxide Cream) at the first sign of redness, which acts as a protective barrier.
Bathing Safety: Safe bathing starts with the right tools. Use a dedicated Baby Bathtub with anti-slip support. Use Soft Washcloths and a tear-free Mild Baby Soap or Baby Body Wash. After the bath, gently pat the baby dry with a soft, absorbent Baby Towel or Muslin Cloths. Keep the room temperature comfortable (check with a Room Thermometer) to avoid chills.
Feeding Hygiene & Safety: Sterilization is critical for newborn health. Use a Bottle Sterilizer (Electric or Microwave Steam Sterilizer) to kill germs on Feeding Bottles, Bottle Nipples, and Baby Sippers. Always clean bottles thoroughly with a Bottle Brush and soap before sterilizing. Follow the sterilizer’s instructions, ensuring the bottles are disassembled completely.
Daily Skincare Routine: Use products specifically formulated for delicate baby skin. After a bath, apply Baby Lotion to moisturize, or Baby Oil for a gentle massage. Use a small amount of Mild Baby Shampoo for the hair and scalp. When selecting Baby Powder, opt for cornstarch-based or talc-free options and apply away from the baby’s face to prevent inhalation.
Oral Comfort & Hygiene: Baby Soothers (Pacifiers) can help comfort a baby, but check with your pediatrician first, especially if you are exclusively breastfeeding. Always use one-piece soothers that are appropriately sized. Clean them daily and sterilize them regularly using your Bottle Sterilizer or boiling water. Never attach a soother to the baby’s clothing with a long cord, as this poses a strangulation risk
Early Dental Care: Start oral hygiene immediately. Before teeth erupt, gently wipe your baby’s gums and tongue with a clean, damp Soft Washcloth or a finger brush after feeding. Once the first tooth appears, use a small, soft-bristled Baby Toothbrush and a tiny smear of fluoride-free or infant Toothpaste (rice grain size).
Grooming Safety: Keeping nails short is vital to prevent scratching. Use a specialized Baby Nail Cutter with rounded edges, or preferably a Baby Nail File, to trim nails when the baby is asleep or calm. Ensure the nursery or bed is protected with a Waterproof Mattress Protector to shield the mattress from spills, leaks, and bedwetting, extending its lifespan.
